Grace Trips

Each trip is unique and therefore, the cost to participate in each trip is different. Factors that affect the cost of participation are length of the trip, travel expenses, food, and more.

The short answer is... YES! There is no advance training or experience required for most short-term Grace Trips.

However, you can expect a meeting, or two in advance of leaving on the trip where your Trip Leader will prep you for a successful, and stress-free trip.

God has the uncanny ability to use people of all talents, backgrounds, and education levels to impact our world for His glory.

What you will do on a Grace Trip is very specific to each trip.

Take some time to read through the description on each trip's webpage to learn more about the mission at hand and the proposed tasks you may be doing while on the trip.

To be considered for participating in an upcoming short-term Grace Trip, you'll first fill out an Application online. Applications can be found on each trip's webpage.

After you've submitted your online Application, the Trip Leader will then review your info and make the decision to approve/deny your application.

If approved, you'll then be contacted and asked to officially 'register' for your trip. During the registration process, you may be required to pay a down-payment towards your trip expenses.

Each trip has a per-person cost to participate.

Most participants will do a mix of paying a bit themselves and then asking for donations (fundraising) to pay for the remainder... the decision is ultimately yours on how you'd like to raise the funds to support your trip.

Most trips require a small down-payment once you're approved to participate. Then, the balance of your participation costs will be due closer to the trip departure date.

Each Grace Trip has a specific age range allowed for participants.

Currently, Grace Church offers four different 'types' of trips:

• Adult only (18+)
• Student (Intended for high school students... usually 15/16+)
• Family (Adult required. Child ages are specified per trip)
• Intergenerational (minimum age specified per trip)

The first step to be considered for leading a trip through Grace is submit an online proposal.

This proposal form will ask for details specific to your proposed trip to help the Grace staff team make an educated decision on the feasibility of the trip.
