Jump In. Get Planted. Grow Deep. Your Spiritual Growth Begins Here

God does not call us to follow Him alone. He calls us into spiritual family. Rooted is a 10-week small group experience designed to stimulate your spiritual growth, connect you with Grace, and surround you with people who love and support you.

Whether you’ve been a follower of Christ for a long time or new to faith, Rooted has the potential to have a bigger impact on your spiritual growth than anything else you do this year. If you aren't experiencing what you were made for, join Rooted to discover what you've been missing. You were made for more.

Not a Bible Study. A Spiritual Family. Join Rooted Now

Rooted small groups are where you find a spiritual family, connect with God, and practice rhythms of what it means to follow Jesus. If you're not experiencing a faith that is growing deeper, join Rooted now to discover what you were made for.

What You Can Expect

Here are the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about Rooted.

Still have questions? We're here to help.

In-Person Rooted Groups

Rooted is offered at all 3 campuses.

146th Street: Monday, September 14 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Fishers: Tuesday, September 15 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

North Indy: Wednesday, September 16 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Online Rooted Groups

Since the Rooted program is designed as an "in person" group participation experience, we are not actively forming online Rooted Groups. However, if you would like to participate in Rooted and you have extenuating circumstances that will not enable you to attend in person, please contact the appropriate Community Life Contact at your campus.

Patty Fromke - 146th Street Campus

Denise Adair - Fishers Campus

Lisa Telford - North Indy Campus

Note that all Rooted groups meet onsite during one of the times offered by their campus. Part of the commitment of Rooted Leaders is to attend a weekly training that occurs onsite at each campus before each Rooted meeting. Therefore we do not have offsite Rooted groups available.

The cost is $30/person. This fee will help offset the cost of your participant guide, printed materials for participants, and facilitators. This is discounted from the regular $40/person because our celebration will be different due to COVID-19. Scholarships are available.

If you realize that you are no longer able to participate in rooted, no problem. We will offer full refunds up until Rooted begins. Since we base our materials and planning expenses on the total number of registrations, once Rooted starts refunds are no longer available. If you have registered and something has changed in your plans, please contact the appropriate Community Life Contact at your campus.

Childcare Signup

We want everyone to participate in Rooted and realize some can’t due to finances. If that’s you, you can apply for a scholarship during the online Rooted registration process.

Yes, if you are in need of childcare throughout the 10 weeks of Rooted, you can register for this during your online Rooted Registration. Childcare will be provided for ages infant - 5th grade and is $30/child.

In order to create a more conducive environment for discussion, we ask that all children ages birth -5th grade register for Rooted childcare and not be in the room with parents, and other arrangements are made for school-aged kids.

Childcare Sign-up

Rooted consists of 10 small group meetings over a 10-week period in addition to three separate experiences. Those three experiences are related to service, prayer, and celebration. Groups will be given a list of dates and times for the prayer and serve experiences, and they will discuss and schedule these experiences within the first two weeks of Rooted. The final celebration is a time for groups from all campuses will come together to celebrate how God has moved in their lives during the experience.

To get the most out of this experience, our hope is that you make a commitment to attend all sessions and participate in the group discussions. If you cannot be there, group dynamics will be impacted. If you know you will miss more than two group meetings, we ask that you attend a different session of Rooted.

In order to create a more conducive environment for discussion, we ask that all children ages birth -5th grade register for Rooted childcare and not be in the room with parents, and other arrangements are made for school-aged kids.

Our goal is for graduated Rooted groups to continue as ongoing Life Groups. These Life Groups continue the life-change and rhythms of Rooted with regular meeting times and intentional curriculum, training, and experiences that ultimately help you find your place of service and destiny.

Contact the Rooted director at your campus to begin the leader application process. You will fill out an application form, provide references, and be interviewed by our staff team.
